Mehrzad Marashi is a German-Iranian singer who gained popularity after winning the seventh season of the popular German talent show, "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" (Germany Seeks the Superstar) in 2010. His latest album, "New Life," released in 2020, is a blend of pop, R&B, and soul music.
The album opens with the title track "New Life," which sets the tone for the entire album with its upbeat tempo, catchy hooks, and positive lyrics. The next track, "Love Is the Answer," slows things down a bit with its smooth vocals and romantic lyrics. "Es tut mir leid" (I'm sorry) is a heartfelt ballad that showcases Marashi's vocal range and emotional depth.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Nur du" (Only you), a catchy R&B-infused pop song that is sure to get listeners dancing. "Ich bleib bei dir" (I'll stay with you) is another standout track that features a soulful melody and heartfelt lyrics.
