Drive Like Maria's self-titled album is a thrilling ride through a variety of rock genres. From the opening track "Deep Blue" with its driving guitar riffs and catchy chorus, to the bluesy "Keeps Me Going" and the soulful "Holding On," the band showcases their versatility and musical prowess.
Lead singer Bjorn Awouters' vocals are powerful and emotive, adding depth to the already impressive instrumentation. The album also features collaborations with notable musicians such as Triggerfinger's Ruben Block on "Nighthawk" and Black Box Revelation's Jan Paternoster on "Saints."
The production on the album is top-notch, with each instrument and vocal layer perfectly balanced for maximum impact. The songs are well-crafted and memorable, leaving a lasting impression on the listener.
