About Laura Greene

Soul singer, from Cleveland, Ohio, enjoyed a long and successful career in the entertainment industry. She started out as stage actress before becoming a singer in the lucrative TV and radio jingle business. She has also modelled for many press campaigns and regularly appeared on TV chat shows. In 1968 she had a role in the film For Love Of Ivy with Sidney Poitier and a year later co-starred in the satire Putney Swope directed by Robert Downey Sr. It seems fitting that her 1967 non-hit Moonlight Music And You finally found commercial success in 2003 when featured on a KFC TV advert. Most of her recording and acting career was in New York. She was a long time partner of for 60 years.

Cleveland's own Ms.Laura Greene. She is amazing and still vivacious. I spoke with this great lady, I loved her then and I love her now.
Is she still alive? Such a beautiful woman ????
I contacted Laura Greene on Facebook just to tell her how much I love her song and that with all the hundreds if not thousands of disco R&B soul jazz old school songs from the 70s that I love this remains among my favorites
:)) The first version !!! <3
Prefiero la versión de James Darren y Hatti Winston. Darren, aquel actor del Tunel del Tiempo.
Actually I have the 12-inch promo version of this and I have this 45 and even though I love the length of the 12-inch version the continuity and the flow of the song is probably better on the 7 in okay both beautiful and both nice to have and I had to contact Ms Greene and tell her that I think her disco song from 1977 is one of the prettiest things from the Disco era
She made the song for Rockys porno and now she’s doing a cover of a rocky song????
love this song Beautiful version of this love theme from Rocky someone had uploaded the rare 12-inch version of this as mysteriously as it appeared on YouTube it disappeared

Released on Epic in 1977, at the height of "Rocky" mania. I liked it! - I bought it! - I might buy it back! LOL

Have a listen to Laura Greene's "Manhattan" (Sound Trek) Great soulful disco - or her 60s Northern Soul classics "Moonlight Music And You" (RCA) and "Memories And Souvenirs" (Capitol).
