Hinweg Über Die Tore Der Zeit is the latest album from German pagan metal band Mjölnir, and it's a powerful and epic journey through the realms of Nordic mythology and history. With their signature blend of black metal, folk music, and symphonic arrangements, Mjölnir delivers a grandiose and atmospheric sound that captures the imagination and stirs the spirit.
From the opening track "Ragnarök" to the closing epic "Das Letzte Gefecht", Hinweg Über Die Tore Der Zeit takes the listener on a wild ride through battles, legends, and ancient wisdom. The vocals of frontman Thorgrim are as fierce and commanding as ever, alternating between harsh growls and clean chants, while the guitar work of Mjölnir's other members provides a rich tapestry of riffs, melodies, and solos.
One of the highlights of the album is the use of orchestral and choir arrangements, which add a cinematic and majestic quality to the music.
