The album Butterfly Effect by Sack is a mesmerizing collection of songs that showcases the band's versatility and musical prowess. From the hauntingly beautiful "Fly" to the high-energy "Runaway Train," each track takes the listener on a journey through different emotions and experiences.

The lead singer's powerful vocals are perfectly complemented by the band's tight instrumentation, creating a rich and dynamic sound that is both captivating and engaging. The lyrics are introspective and thought-provoking, exploring themes of love, loss, and self-discovery.

What a great little band. I cant imagine how I missed out on them in the 90s. Perhaps too many bands at that time and the inability to promote them for the US. Smooth vox, great chord and key changes, great musicianship. It's almost as if the Buzzcocks merged with The Smiths..
What a great album !!!
Everyone has that one tune stuck in their head forever .. that they cannot place. I first heard this .. what nearly 30yrs ago on the Late Late when I was small... loved it. FINALLY knows who sang it !.. still brilliant ?
the best cry
Definitely one of the greatest Irish rock songs ever and deserves way more recognition. (Umberto, thanks for uploading; could you correct the band name in the title).
lovely to see the comments here! here's a link to a show we recorded in December: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXn8k1sGeDg
Saw them with morrissey in dublin ambassador venue, they stole the show and gained many fans that night xx
Maybe my favourite band of all time
Wonderful.
Love Love love this song !!!
I saw this band at Arlene's Grocery in New York City; was actually there to see another band I was scouting and they managed to keep my attention. They performed "Laughter Lines" and it it really drew me in; it really moved me and the lead singer poured his emotion into the song. I happened to be putting together a soundtrack for the motion picture, "The Rage: Carrie 2" and asked them if they would like to participate. Really fit the mood of the movie; beautifully sad and one of my all-time soundtrack favorites.
One of the finest songs I have ever heard.
Timeless quality music.
This song is perfect. It pains me to see it falling into oblivion. It represents a whole chapter of my life and I hope there is some great people out there who never stop playing it.
Sack were always fantastic live. I remember seeing them in Cork to a very small crowd. They still gave it everything. Nothing beats Laughter Lines live.
Amazing Song By Dublin Band Sack,Featuring The Wondrous Vocals Of Martin McCann {Now With Elevens}.This Is One Of Morrissey's Most Loved Songs EVER To Come Out Of Ireland......
great anthem of the Phantom FM days
What a tune!!
