- Sleeve printed and made by Howards Printers (Slough) LTD.
- Bootleg rerelease from the early 1990ies. No label information on cover/booklet/disc but "Dandisc / Cent 1 / CDM01" on inner CD ring. 4-page booklet contains reproduction of the gatefold LP inner cover (miniaturized). Obviously mastered from LP, as there are slightly audible vinyl noises (pops).
- Released in a fold-out cover in black inner sleeves.
- Robert Fripp is also credited as "Bob Fripp" on label and backcover.
- 180 gram reissue.
- Recorded at Wessex Studios, London, during three days in June 1971.

- Released in a fold-out cover with different design than Neon release. Orange Dynaflex labels.
- Cat # (NE 9) on labels.
- Originally released as Centipede - Septober Energy.
- This unofficial release lists 'Fripp & Friends' as a possible artist name. However, artist is still Centipede .
- This release 'splits' the album into two cds, with the following catalogue numbers:
- Volume 1: FFDC 11000571/1
- Volume 2: FFDC 11000571/2
- This is a promotional copy that has two large stickers on the front. They say that it has been 'banded for DJ use'. Indeed the vinyl has been split into tracks where the general release version has not. Track titles are taken from the promo stickers. The non-sequential track listing is because the double LP has sides A and D on one vinyl, and B & C on the other.
- Recorded at Wessex Studios, London, England, June 1971.
- Originally released as a double LP.

i believe henry cow did that abstract thing way better
- with less instruments
- less vinyl time
- more variation
- without apparent structure too
The main difference between the late 60s and the late 70s appeared to be that audiences had become jaded with experimentation in rock/jazz etc. I’ve always blamed this on the domineering punk culture, which demanded a level of both sociological and fashion awareness that eluded purely musical performers.
