With Confidence's sophomore album Love and Loathing is an emotional rollercoaster that is sure to strike a chord with listeners. The Australian pop-punk band has stepped up their game with this album, delivering catchy melodies, relatable lyrics, and a raw energy that is hard to resist.
The album kicks off with "That Something," a high-energy track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. From there, the band explores themes of heartbreak, self-doubt, and the ups and downs of relationships. Tracks like "Icarus" and "Moving Boxes" showcase the band's ability to write catchy hooks while still packing an emotional punch.
Lead vocalist Jayden Seeley's voice is a standout on this album, delivering powerful performances on tracks like "The Turnaround" and "Bruise." The band's musicianship is also on full display, with tight guitar riffs and driving drum beats that keep the energy high throughout the album.
