The Hunger Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Various, Michel Rubini & Denny Jaeger is a mesmerizing collection of tracks that perfectly captures the mood of the 1983 cult classic film. The album features a diverse range of artists, including Bauhaus, Iggy Pop, and Peter Murphy, each contributing their unique style to the overall sound of the soundtrack.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Bela Lugosi's Dead" by Bauhaus, which sets the tone for the entire soundtrack with its haunting vocals and eerie guitar riffs. Iggy Pop's "The Passenger" and "Tonight" by David Bowie and Tina Turner are also notable tracks that add to the overall ambiance of the album.
Michel Rubini and Denny Jaeger's original compositions for the soundtrack are equally impressive, with tracks like "Sacrifice of Fools" and "Love and Hate" perfectly capturing the film's themes of love, lust, and immortality.

Esta joyita, tiene que ser,al igual que las obras de arte, cuidada,y ,si se la puede mejorar (Tecnología mediante)mejor. Es un baluarte del cine, que no pasa desapercibido para quienes amamos el CINE. no "el cine"
Loved this movie ?. Loved the book, by Whitley Strieber, as well. With Catherine Deneuve, David Bowie and Susan Sarandon, this is one of the most beautiful films ever. It is post romantically and suddenly acted, in consideration of the story. and of course there is the intro with Peter Murphy (the Goth-father) bringing all his beautiful darkness with The Bauhaus and singing about archetype camp celebrity vampire Bella Lugosi. The story surrounds controversial scientific research and the very real disease, progeria. All of this wrapped in a soundtrack with Schubert and Delibes. People who don’t like this movie probably like Donald Trump and listen to modern country music ?
I watched this first when I was 7-years-old. I’ve loved it ever since, especially the soundtrack. I also fell in love with Bauhaus. The classical pieces in the soundtrack are so beautiful and delicate they make me feel beautiful. ❤️❤️❤️???
Loved this movie. A classic IMHO in horror. A different take on the typical vampire type film. Had an elegance mixed with a sexiness. It had all the elements. Great photography, One of the most beautiful women of all time...Catherine Deneuve. Legendary rocker David Bowie and known actress Susan Sarandon. Great choice of music for the soundtrack...interestingly including a Goth band Bauhaus. Love to see them remaster the film on 4k BLuRay. With reference quality sound and video mastering. not sure if they're working on it.
What exactly is the name of this piece? Even if you're not a fan of classical music you have to have enjoyed this one. Piece.
