Review by Ariel Hyatt

Ted Heath and His Music's album "The Creep" is a delightful collection of jazz and swing music, released in 1956. The album features some of the most popular and iconic tracks of the era, including "The Creep," "The Touch of Your Lips," and "Swinging Shepherd Blues."

The album showcases the exceptional talent of the band, with Heath leading the ensemble on trombone. The arrangements are tight and precise, with each instrument contributing to the overall sound. The album also features some outstanding solo performances, particularly from trumpeter Bobby Pratt and saxophonist Don Lusher.

The album's standout track is undoubtedly "The Creep," a lively and infectious tune that perfectly captures the spirit of the era. The track features a catchy melody, a driving rhythm, and some excellent solos from the band members. It's impossible not to tap your feet and bob your head along to this one.

I’m here because I used to dance to this tune at Hackney Town Hall .
Midsomer murders!!
Yep another one who’s got the song in the head thanks to Midsomer. Really good song the way it was used . I think my dad played it in my youth as he had some Ted Heath 78s . Remember being the only one at school who thought Ted Heath the Uk Politician was a big band leader !
I remember when I was a teenager in the the seventies I asked my dad what was his favourite music when he was a teenager. Was it Elvis Presley, Cliff Richard or The Beatles? No he said it was Ted Heath and his band. I thought it was hilarious because the only Ted Heath I'd heard of was the former prime minister. But he meant this Ted Heath.
After watching Midsomer Murders 1-20 again for the 5th time, I decided to check this out. Great music.
How I wish people still went dancing on Friday or Saturday nights. I grew up in Minneapolis, and can remember when they pulled down The Prom Ballroom in St. Paul and the Marigold Ballroom in Minneapolis. (My parents were excellent ballroom dancers, and were so sorry to see those venues go. My dad said of the Marigold, "The floor was maple and was suspended; you could dance on it all night without your feet getting sore.") Dancing was inexpensive and good exercise to boot.
I miss Tom and Joyce!
My boy Tom Barnaby brought me here. Great old tune, bloody hell!
Yup midsomer got me here to.
Just checked this out because of Midsomer Murders .
John Nettles can bring me anywhere!
Another Midsomer Murders watcher in South Carolina. Crazy how many people were brought here because of the series. ?
