Review by ould ammar samir

Enrico Caruso's album Recital is a timeless masterpiece that showcases the Italian tenor's incredible vocal range and emotive delivery. Released posthumously in 1960, the album features a collection of Caruso's most beloved arias and songs, including "La donna è mobile" from Verdi's Rigoletto and "O Sole Mio".

Caruso's voice is nothing short of breathtaking, effortlessly gliding through each song with power and finesse. His rendition of "Una furtiva lagrima" from Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore is particularly moving, with Caruso's voice conveying the character's longing and heartbreak with exquisite nuance.

b. February 25, 1873 in Naples, Italy d. August 2, 1921 in Naples, Italy Since Enrico Caruso came from a poor family he was only with great difficulty able to afford the study of singing with Guglielmo Vergine in Naples. Caruso was, beyond doubt, the best known singing personality of his time. His voice was originally a lyric tenor, but capable of the most dramatic climaxes. His phenomenal tone production, the smoothness of his registers, the nobility of his acting and singing style are even today to be marvelled at on more than 200 records.
