The album Sexteto Habanero 1926-1931 by Sexteto Habanero is a must-have for any fan of traditional Cuban music. The sextet, formed in Havana in the 1920s, was one of the pioneers of the son genre, which would go on to become one of the most popular styles of music in Latin America.
