Fairchildren, the fourth studio album by British electronic musician Ott, is a mesmerizing blend of psychedelic dub and world music. The album features nine tracks that take the listener on a journey through intricate soundscapes and hypnotic rhythms.

From the opening track, "One Day I Wish to Have This Kind of Time," the listener is transported to a dreamlike state with its ethereal vocals and pulsing beats. The album continues with "The Bicycle of the Sky," a track that combines Indian classical music with Ott's signature dub sound.

Throughout the album, Ott's production skills are on full display as he seamlessly blends different genres and instruments. The track "16mm Summer Day" features a catchy guitar riff, while "The Queen of All Everything" incorporates a haunting melody played on a didgeridoo.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Signals from Bob," which features a sample of a speech by the late astrophysicist Carl Sagan. Ott uses Sagan's words to create a thought-provoking track that explores the mysteries of the universe.
