Review by Kenny Rivas

Der Feldmohn Das Muß Man Alles Verstehen, the album by Lale Andersen, is a beautiful and nostalgic collection of songs. The album features Andersen's signature voice, which is both haunting and comforting.

The songs on the album are a mix of traditional German folk songs and original compositions by Andersen. The arrangements are simple and understated, allowing Andersen's voice to take center stage. Each song is a story, and Andersen's delivery brings the characters and emotions to life.

One standout track is "Lili Marleen," Andersen's most famous song. The song was a hit during World War II and became an anthem for soldiers on both sides of the conflict. Andersen's version is filled with emotion and captures the longing and sadness of war.

Another standout track is "Der Feldmohn," a haunting ballad about a soldier who dies in battle. Andersen's voice is filled with sadness and regret, making the song a powerful and emotional experience.
