Anal Seepage's album Suffer is not for the faint of heart. The 12 tracks on this release are a brutal onslaught of grindcore, death metal, and goregrind that will leave listeners reeling. From the opening track "Painful Discharge" to the closing "Evisceration," the band delivers a relentless barrage of blast beats, guttural vocals, and savage riffs.
While the music on Suffer is certainly not for everyone, fans of extreme metal will find plenty to enjoy here. The album's production is raw and unpolished, which gives the music a visceral, almost primal quality. The lyrics are predictably gruesome, with songs about mutilation, torture, and other unspeakable acts.
Despite its unrelenting brutality, Suffer is not without its moments of nuance and subtlety. The instrumental track "Drowning in Filth" features some surprisingly melodic guitar work, while "Cannibalistic Delight" has a catchy, almost sing-along chorus.
