Born in Buenos Aires ,he was first interested in dance music when he was around 11 years old.Disco & funk were his first influences. He started to spin underground dance styles round the mid eighties. Since then,Diego played in every underground place, gig or party that has been made in Argentina. He introduced, played and promote in Buenos Aires various house and tecno styles in different clubs.Industrial, dark,EBM, acid, funk, retro, disco, garage,minimal,electro,were used and showed by Diego through his 20 year Dj career.This was mainly for that kind of people that is always looking for innovating sounds, Thanks to the many influences, with fine taste when selecting and energizing latin way of spinning, is impossible for him to stick to one genre... From de deepest, darkest styles to the funky rocking ones ,Diego builds a special kind of set that defines his open minded style. Because of his skills he was named as the "Maradona of Djs" by the biggest selling newspaper from argentina " Clarin". He's been spinning in Europe and USA since 1993 and played in Argentina with top Dj's from all over the world. .As a producer Diego has almost 20 tracks edited in argentina and some of them in all America and German and Spain by different labels. Diego was the first electronic artist to sign a record deal with a major label EMI/VIRGIN along with his best friend Diego Cid when they teamed as D+D,also they signed for Luxury Groove from Spain and Utils form germany as Ro-k.Locally, lots of different independent labels had Diego productionsin their catalogues,and the remixes he did for the major pop/rock bands from argentina, gave him a special place in the local scene.. Nowadays Diego is touring constantly through all Argentina and south America and visits USA and EUROPE 3 or 4 timea s a year ,as he's been doing in the last 10. He has a monthly residency in all the major clubs in Buenos Aires and the finest ones in the whole country and promotes and produces his own gigs called RO-K.COM.The idea of this parties is to show only vanguard or cult artists.Djs like Vitalic (gigolo/citizen) , Abbe Duque , Woody "Esp" Mcbride , Blake Baxter or Jeff Bennet have been spinning in this gigs.
