Review by Pete Marin

The Stanley Brothers' album "How Far To Little Rock" is a classic bluegrass record that showcases the duo's signature sound and musicianship. With Ralph Stanley's distinctive vocals and Carter Stanley's skillful guitar playing, the album features a mix of traditional bluegrass tunes and original compositions.

The album opens with the upbeat "How Far To Little Rock," a driving song that sets the tone for the rest of the record. Other highlights include "I'll Never Grow Tired Of You," a tender ballad that showcases Ralph Stanley's emotive vocals, and "The Lonesome River," a fast-paced tune that features impressive instrumental work from the brothers.

Throughout the album, the Stanley Brothers' harmonies are tight and polished, and their musicianship is top-notch. The production quality is also excellent, with the instruments and vocals all coming through clearly and with great balance.
