Blind Stare - Symphony Of Delusions

Review by Mike Kivowitz

Blind Stare's latest album, Symphony Of Delusions, is a masterpiece of symphonic metal. The Finnish band has created a unique blend of heavy guitar riffs, soaring vocals, and orchestral arrangements that will leave listeners in awe.

The album begins with the epic track "The Dividing Line," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The band's use of symphonic elements is particularly impressive on this track, as the strings and horns complement the heavy guitar riffs perfectly.

Throughout the album, lead vocalist Tommi Tikka delivers a powerful performance, showcasing his impressive range and emotive delivery. The lyrics are introspective and thought-provoking, exploring themes of mental health and the human condition.

One standout track is "The Silent Song," which features a haunting piano melody and a beautiful vocal duet between Tikka and guest vocalist Auri Leskinen. The track builds to a powerful climax, with the orchestra and guitars coming together in a truly epic fashion.

Summary by Mike Kivowitz

Symphony Of Delusions is a must-listen for fans of symphonic metal. Blind Stare has created an album that is both heavy and beautiful, with impressive musicianship and emotional depth. This is a band that deserves to be heard by a wider audience, and this album is a great place to start.

Comments

Finland's Blind Stare are a clone of The Crown, Carnal Forge and Dark Tranquillity, as shown by their 2005 debut, Symphony of Delusions.
This is one of the most underrated CDs of all times. This belongs in every top10 melodic death list. A shame everything else thereafter from Blind Stare was not even half as good.
