Review by Brett Syer

Demonology 101, the latest album by Demonhead, is a must-listen for fans of heavy metal and hard rock. From the opening track to the final note, the album delivers a powerful and intense listening experience.

The album's sound is characterized by heavy riffs, thundering drums, and soaring vocals that perfectly capture the dark and demonic themes that run throughout the album. Each song is expertly crafted, with well-crafted lyrics and intricate instrumentation that showcase the band's skill and creativity.

Standout tracks on the album include "Hellfire," "Inferno," and "Lucifer's Reign," each of which showcases a different aspect of Demonhead's sound. Whether they are delivering bone-crushing riffs or soaring vocal melodies, the band never fails to impress.

About Demonhead

Formed in Melbourne, Australia, 2007. Demonhead take the riff driven elements of Thrash and Traditional Metal and combine these with the grooves of Stoner Rock and Death Punk of Turbonegro. Their first release (EP) Demonology 101 (2010), was a raw metal/punk crossover. After numerous setbacks and line up changes, the band finally released their follow up and debut album, Bring on the Doom (2015). This showcased a more focused sound, better production and a maturing band. 2019 marks the release of their Sophomore album Black Devil Lies, recorded by Chris Themelco at Monolith Studios. Black Devil Lies sees the band taking all the negative energy and setbacks of the previous few years and channelling them into a more refined, heavier and darker sound.
