About Me: Charles Lee Wilson has six degrees from the University of Florida. He taught English in middle school, high school, two correctional institutions, three community colleges, and three universities in Florida. His novel, Totally Trusting, was the first novel to feature the plight of Florida’s manatees. Between stints of teaching and writing, he set a record in a kayak on the Suwannee River, became Florida’s first ironman triathlete, Western States 100 finisher, and barefoot beach runner to be recognized by Ripley’s Believe It or Not! He is a master coastal naturalist who lives on an island in Florida.
