Review by hans pronk

Inversion, the latest album by Zovietfrance, is a work of art that takes listeners on a sonic journey through the depths of the human mind. The album is a collection of experimental soundscapes that are both haunting and mesmerizing.

The album opens with the track "Inversion," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. It is a slow, hypnotic piece that is built around a repeating melody that is gradually layered with other sounds. The track "Spiral" is another standout, with its eerie, otherworldly sounds that seem to come from another dimension.

One of the most impressive things about Inversion is the way it seamlessly blends different genres of music. There are elements of ambient, industrial, and even classical music in some of the tracks. The result is a unique and captivating sound that is unlike anything else out there.

Sit and listen to this in the dark with the lights off, says the disc jockey. You're going on a fantastic journey in experimental ambient dream sound. I heard this on Lex I's "Inches from the Abyss" show today, Sunday, May 9, 2021 on wmbr.org streaming from the archives after the show was broadcast Saturday evening. "A hyper unreal aural journey from the edges of the mundane." WMBR is the all volunteer non-commercial community radio station of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
