"Paint It Blue: Songs of the Rolling Stones - This Ain't No Tribute" is a phenomenal album that showcases the talents of various artists who have put together their own unique spin on some of the Rolling Stones' most iconic songs. From the bluesy, soulful rendition of "Sympathy for the Devil" by Joe Louis Walker to the hauntingly beautiful version of "Wild Horses" by Carolyn Wonderland, each track on this album is a true masterpiece.

The album features a diverse range of artists, each bringing their own flair and style to the table. The guitar work on the album is particularly impressive, with some truly incredible solos and riffs that perfectly capture the essence of the original songs while still adding something new and exciting to the mix.

I had always thought it was impossible to do a bad version of this song until I heard the Black Crows do it and they EASILY proved me wrong! They also did a really nice job of butchering up "Winter" real good! Thanks for nothing Crows!
This is best cover also His version of moonlight mile on this same course is also a gem

THIS IS ONE KICK ASS CD!!
Charlie would be proud of this drummer.
..this rendition makes the rolling stones sound like a garage band..
This is such a beautifully done album.... I would never say it’s better than the original, nor would I say it’s not as good.. Unbelievable soul here .. ✊?☮️
Putain quel pied. Vive les Stones et Otis. Pour le reste de l'éternité.
Oh Mr Otis Clay
This is one deeply moving rendition of a yes a moving track, but you really made this your own. That with all respect given to the Stones of course. I would never infer to take anything away from them, nothing.('
PEACE. LOVE. RESPECT.

Absolutely epic RIP OTIS CLAY
If you like this and I do very much. Then you have to also hear the original by Gram Parsons.
I think Neil Young said it best in his song "Campaigner": "Everybody's got soul ... even President Nixon!" Mr. Clay sure had soul ... and so did the Stones, for that matter!
Love these!
not be a Tribute? whats with that? Of course it is or they wouldn't have recorded these beautiful song and music from The Stones...glad I got this when it came out...never grow tired of it although I'm a blues freak.
just brilliant
Dang Otis has the soul!
