Dead Cities is the debut album from VOne, a musical project led by German producer and DJ Oliver Lieb. The album, released in 1997, is a journey through the dark and moody realms of electronic music, featuring a mix of ambient, techno, and trance elements.

The album opens with the hauntingly beautiful "Welcome", a slow-building track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. From there, VOne takes the listener on a journey through eerie soundscapes ("The Seeker"), driving techno beats ("Space Odyssey"), and ethereal trance melodies ("Clouds in My House").

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Love Parade", a pulsing techno anthem that captures the energy and excitement of the legendary Berlin music festival. Another highlight is "Energize", a driving trance track with a hypnotic bassline and soaring melodies.
