National Service is the second full-length album by the British indie rock band Total Victory. The album was released on May 5th, 2017, and features ten tracks of catchy, guitar-driven rock that draws inspiration from the post-punk and new wave movements of the late 70s and early 80s.
The album kicks off with the energetic "Trials," which sets the tone for the rest of the record with its driving rhythm section and jangly guitar riffs. "National Service" and "The Ocean" follow suit, delivering catchy hooks and sing-along choruses that are sure to get stuck in your head.
Throughout the album, Total Victory shows off their knack for crafting memorable melodies and tight arrangements. "The Last Waltz" is a standout track with its dreamy guitar lines and soaring chorus, while "The Legend of the Moon" showcases the band's more experimental side with its atmospheric soundscapes and haunting vocals.
