Review by SALATIEL ARAÚJO RAMOS

Tennis' latest album, Things To Do When You're Sad, is a bittersweet collection of songs that explore the depths of human emotion. The duo, made up of husband and wife Patrick Riley and Alaina Moore, have crafted a record that is both melancholic and uplifting, a testament to their ability to capture the complexities of life through music.

The album opens with "I'll Haunt You," a hauntingly beautiful track that sets the tone for the rest of the record. Moore's ethereal vocals float over Riley's dreamy guitar chords, creating a sense of yearning that runs throughout the album. "Need Your Love" is a standout track, with its catchy chorus and upbeat rhythm. It's a song about longing for someone who is no longer there, but it manages to be both sad and hopeful at the same time.

Other highlights include "How To Forgive," a slow-burning ballad that builds to a powerful climax, and "Matrimony II," a reimagining of a song from their 2011 debut album. The latter is a stripped-down version that showcases Moore's vocals, which are at their most vulnerable and raw.
