Comments

Flight 309 to Tennessee good song love the duet with David Frizzell
I notice in the later years of her singing, she sounds a lot more like her mother.Sadly, those performances are rare and hardly seen.
My mom was a big Shelly West fan when she was living
I still love Shelly West in 2021
I can remember years ago when this song first came out how much radio play it got ,also I can remember when I was a kid going to where mom worked and it always on the radio either going to work with mom or coming home from.work with mom and I was only about 7 ,8 but it's all been one of my favorite songs and I am now 46
she was soooooo gorgeous
this is a great song used to listen to it as often as I could when I was a kid and teen. Shelley West is a great artist, but has never gotten the recognition that she truly deserves.
Shelly's producer stuck with the same bass singer used on 'You're the reason God made Oklahoma'.
Shelly West hit #4 on the Billboard country singles chart with this gem in the fall of 1983. Should have been a #1.
What has happened to this lady
I love her voice it is amazing she sounds a lot like her mom but like a deeper version of her mom's voice where her mom kind of had a higher-pitched voice both are very pretty and good singers
Kind of copies the Sheena Easton song my baby takes the morning train.
