Review by April Fulk

The album Mick Taylor We Miss You by the Rolling Stones is a tribute to their former guitarist, Mick Taylor. The album features live recordings from their 1973 European tour, with Taylor's outstanding guitar work taking center stage.

The album opens with "Brown Sugar," a classic Stones track that showcases Taylor's exceptional guitar skills. His solos on "Tumbling Dice" and "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" are equally impressive, demonstrating his ability to seamlessly blend blues, rock, and jazz influences.

The album also features Taylor's own composition, "Sway," which is a standout track on the album. The song is a slow-burning blues rock number with Taylor's guitar work adding an extra layer of emotion to the lyrics.

The live recordings on the album capture the energy and excitement of the Stones' performances, with Taylor's guitar work adding an extra dimension to the band's sound. The album is a fitting tribute to a talented musician who played an important role in the Stones' history.

Comments

This is simply stunning. Amongst the best of the Mick Taylor era
Most consider this the best live period for the Stones. While I do find 1972 and 1973 excellent live concerts, I don’t thinkbb be the shows from 1969 will ever be topped. Such a raw , primal sound from a band becoming the best rock n roll band in the world
These guys will never make it big.
was mick taylor playing with them good songs google riel boire
Super what a good Quality of this super concert thanx. It's a pity that there's no official live album of the best years of the GREATEST ROCK band ever, the years 1972/1973 with Mick Taylor at his top .
The best period of the best band forever... Thanks for sharing... Greetings from Croatia Tanja ?????
