As Time Goes By, the nineteenth studio album of the legendary Rolling Stones, is a tribute to the blues and R&B music of their youth. Released in 2021, the album features covers of classic songs from artists such as Muddy Waters, Little Walter, and Jimmy Reed.
The album opens with "Harlem Shuffle," a catchy and upbeat song that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Mick Jagger's vocals are as strong as ever, and the band's instrumentation is tight and polished.
Other highlights include "All Your Love," a slow and sultry blues number, and "I Can't Quit You Baby," a blues-rock track that showcases Keith Richards' guitar skills. The album also features a cover of "Key to the Highway," a song that has been covered by many blues artists over the years.
