Review by Joe Freeburn

Radio Chongqing's Special Edition LP1 is a unique and eclectic album that showcases the band's diverse musical influences and experimental style. Featuring a mix of electronic and traditional Chinese instruments, the album takes listeners on a journey through different moods and genres, from the hauntingly beautiful "Moon Over the River" to the upbeat and funky "Electric City."

The band's skillful musicianship and creative arrangements are evident throughout the album, with each track offering something new and unexpected. The use of traditional Chinese instruments, such as the pipa and erhu, adds a distinctive flavor to the music and showcases the band's cultural heritage.

For me it starts with an awesome witness to a dolphin giving birth as an allegory to creation itself.  Genesis 1, 20-23
so lovely - a soft gentle tapestry on which to lay your head.  A beautiful sunrise which you witness and watch the glorious light wash over the world.
WOW - i'm feeling H.G. Wells "Time Machine" with a mix of the streets of Tokyo at night from that foreboding twang that keeps repeating.  Love the contrast between the antique picture that you would see in a London bookstore, with the modern night city feel of the music.
