Johnny Cooper With Ken Avery And His Rockin' Rhythm - Were Gonna Rock Around The Clock

Review by Laura

Johnny Cooper's album, "We're Gonna Rock Around The Clock," featuring Ken Avery and his Rockin' Rhythm, is a true classic in the rock and roll genre. The album, released in 1955, captures the energy and excitement of the early days of rock and roll.

Cooper's vocals are raw and powerful, perfectly suited for the driving rhythms of the songs. Avery's band provides a solid foundation for Cooper's vocals, with tight, punchy rhythms and blazing guitar solos.

The album features classic rock and roll tracks such as "Rock Around The Clock," "Shake, Rattle, and Roll," and "See You Later, Alligator." These songs have become iconic in the rock and roll canon, and Cooper's versions are some of the best.
