Review by احمد الملا

The album Stabat Mater by Poulenc, Régine Crespin, Choeurs René Duclos, Société Des Concerts Du Conservatoire, Direction Georges Prêtre is a masterpiece of choral music that showcases the talents of some of the most accomplished artists in the field. The album is a moving and powerful tribute to the Virgin Mary and her suffering at the crucifixion of her son.

The album's standout feature is the stunning vocal performance by Régine Crespin, whose rich and expressive voice brings the emotional depth of the music to life. The Choeurs René Duclos and Société Des Concerts Du Conservatoire provide an equally impressive choral accompaniment, blending seamlessly with Crespin's vocals to create a truly immersive listening experience.

The album's production values are top-notch, with clear and crisp recording that captures the nuances of the music and the performances. The direction by Georges Prêtre is also noteworthy, as he skillfully guides the ensemble through the complex and challenging compositions.
