Review by Lisa

Nomadi's Original Album Series is a delightful collection of some of the Italian band's best works. The album features five of their original albums, including "Nomadi," "Un giorno insieme," "Io vagabondo," "Mille e una sera," and "Canzoni d'oltremanica."

The band's sound is a blend of rock, folk, and pop, and their music is characterized by powerful vocals, catchy melodies, and meaningful lyrics. Each album in the series offers a unique listening experience, with different themes and styles that showcase the band's versatility.

"Nomadi" is the band's debut album and features some of their most popular hits, including "Come potete giudicar," "Ho difeso il mio amore," and "Noi non ci saremo." "Un giorno insieme" follows a similar style, with upbeat tracks like "Io voglio vivere" and "Il vecchio e il bambino."

"Io vagabondo" is perhaps the band's most famous album, with the title track becoming an instant classic. The album also features other hits like "Dio è morto" and "Crescerai." "Mille e una sera" is a more mellow album, with slower ballads like "Ma noi no" and "Un pugno di sabbia."

Finally, "Canzoni d'oltremanica" is a departure from the band's usual style, featuring covers of popular international songs like "House of the Rising Sun" and "Blowin' in the Wind."

About Nomadi

Nomadi (or I Nomadi, meaning 'The Nomads') is an Italian band formed in 1963 and still active. In 1961 Beppe Carletti and Leonardo Manfredini formed the group I Monelli (The Urchins). In 1962 Carletti met Franco Midilli, guitarist of the group Novellara, who joined them . In 1963 Franco Midilli introduced Augusto Daolio to Beppe Carletti and he too joined. That year the bands name was changed to I Nomadi. The original 1963 formation of six was founded in Reggio Emilia: Augusto Daolio (vocals), Beppe Carletti (keyboards), Franco Midili (guitar), Leonardo Manfredini (drums), Gualtiero Gelmini (sax) and Antonio Campari (bass). In the same year I Nomadi were signed by Frankfurt Bar in Riccione. Franco Midilli had to leave the group that summer for compulsory military service. The line-up changed frequently; in 1964 Madfredini left after the death of his parents; so did Campari and Gelmini, who were replaced by Gabriele Bila Copellini on drums and Gianni Coron on bass. In 1965 they released their first 7
