Nightwish's latest album, Vehicle Of Spirit, is a true masterpiece of symphonic metal. The album features a collection of live performances from the band's 2015 Endless Forms Most Beautiful tour, recorded in various locations around the world.
The album opens with the powerful "Shudder Before The Beautiful", which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The band's signature blend of orchestral arrangements, heavy guitar riffs, and soaring vocals is on full display throughout the album. About Nightwish
A symphonic heavy metal band from Kitee, Finland, founded in 1996 by Tuomas Holopainen.
Nightwish was initially founded as an acoustic band with Holopainen on keyboards, Tarja Turunen on vocals and Erno "Emppu" Vuorinen on guitar, but turned into a heavy metal band in 1997 when drummer Jukka Nevalainen joined and they started to use electric guitar instead of acoustic one.
The group has gone through few lead vocalist changes on their career. First with original member Tarja Turunen in 2005 and then with Anette Olzon in 2012 before settling on Floor Jansen in 2013.
Long time drummer Jukka Nevalainen was forced to quit the band for good in 2019 due to health issues (insomnia). Another key member, Marco Hietala quit due to personal issues in 2021.

What never ceases to amaze me is how just crisp and perfect every single fucking note is played by the band. I've watched easily 500 nightwish videos on YouTube and I don't think I've heard a single mistake. Professionals through and through.

Love that they have now added in a Floor cooling system into the set equipment. Her vocals get too hot for venue risk assessments.

This concert was super epic! Ghost Love Score, The Poet and the Pendulum, and the Greatest Show on Earth in the same concert? And to make things even better, Mr. Richard Dawkins was there too! What else can you ask for!?
That drums!!! OMG!
Wacken was even better, especially Floor was on a different planet at that time! If you compare the last note here and in Wacken there is still much difference!
My 74 year old ex father in law told me to check this song out. So.... first time hearing Nightwish and i have to say i'm blown away. Excellent stage show, great sound to this band and the lead singer is beautiful. Love the way she swings that beautiful hair around. Her voice is amazing! Gonna check out her Phantom of the opera song.
