Review by ray powell

Moglass' album, August 1 2004, is a captivating and immersive listening experience. The ambient electronic soundscape created by the Ukrainian duo is both haunting and beautiful, with each track seamlessly flowing into the next.

The album opens with "Prelude", a dreamy introduction that sets the tone for what's to come. "August 1 2004" follows, with its pulsating beats and ethereal melodies building to a powerful climax. "Underwater" is a standout track, with its deep, rumbling bass and shimmering synths evoking the feeling of being submerged in an ocean.

Throughout the album, Moglass expertly blends organic and electronic sounds, creating a sense of balance and harmony that's rare in ambient music. The use of field recordings, such as the sound of rain on "Rainy Day", adds an extra layer of depth to the overall sound.
