Lithuanian painter and composer, born 22 September 1875 in Senoji Varėna, Russian Empire (today Lithuania) and died 10 April 1911 in Pustelnik (Marki), Russian Empire (today Poland). During his short life he composed about 250 pieces of music and created about 300 paintings.
