Mental Tremors' self-titled debut album is a force to be reckoned with. The band's unique blend of post-punk and new wave is both refreshing and exhilarating. The album is a journey through the darker side of life, exploring themes of isolation, despair, and mental illness.
The opening track, "Intro," sets the tone for the rest of the album with its haunting synth sounds and pulsing bass line. "Broken Dreams" is a standout track, with its catchy guitar riff and driving rhythm section. The lyrics are introspective, with lines like "I'm stuck in this place, can't escape my own mind."
"Shadows" is a slower, more atmospheric track, with ethereal vocals and dreamy guitar work. The song builds to a crescendo, with the drums and bass kicking in to create a powerful climax.
