Mandingo - Sacrifice

Mandingo's album Sacrifice is a masterful blend of African rhythms and contemporary jazz that will leave listeners spellbound. The album opens with the hauntingly beautiful track "Sacrifice" that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The percussion is tight and precise, and the horns and keyboards are used to great effect.
The album has a strong Afrobeat influence, but there are also elements of funk, soul, and even rock that are seamlessly woven into the mix. The guitar work on "Soul Power" is particularly impressive, and the driving beat of "Afro Blues" will get even the most stoic listener tapping their feet.
Mandingo's musicianship is evident throughout the album, and the arrangements are complex and layered. The album also features some impressive guest appearances, including saxophonist Branford Marsalis and trumpeter Randy Brecker, who add their own unique flavor to the mix.
