Review by Michael Gahn

Locomotiv GT's seventh studio album, "Mindenki," is a masterpiece of Hungarian progressive rock. Released in 1984, this album features the band's signature blend of hard rock, jazz, and funk, with lyrics that explore social and political themes.

The album opens with the energetic and funky "Mindig magasabbra," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The band's musicianship is on full display throughout, with intricate guitar solos, complex drumming, and intricate keyboard arrangements.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Soha nem elég," which features a catchy chorus and a guitar solo that is both melodic and virtuosic. The lyrics, which deal with the theme of ambition and the pursuit of success, are both thought-provoking and relatable.

Another highlight of the album is "Ablakok," which features a beautiful piano intro and a haunting melody that builds to a powerful climax. The lyrics, which deal with the theme of isolation and loneliness, are delivered with raw emotion by the lead vocalist.

About Locomotiv GT

Hungarian rock group, formed in 1971 by ex- members Presser Gábor and Laux József. The band was active until around 1984 / 1985 and until then, they released one LP almost every year. They went to the US for a tour after their second LP. After 1985 they still reunited from time to time for a concert or even for a few releases, but they never worked together again as a proper band.
