About Joy King
Australian singer born 1932, died 1996. She was five years old when chosen to record the Aeroplane Jelly jingle after winning a radio competition in 1938.
The other one that for some reason sunk in was something like "Snuggle down nice one baby there's nobody home but me!"
Or I think that's how it went anyway.
The information here is not correct.
The jingle was aired on radio in the late 1930s. The singer was Joy King, who was much younger that the girl on the swing, only about four.
Barbara Llewelyn mimed it for television in 1960.when she was about even.
