Hot Dog, the album by Corky Jones, is a delightful collection of country songs that will have you tapping your feet and singing along in no time. With his smooth vocals and catchy tunes, Jones delivers a classic country sound that is both authentic and enjoyable.

The album kicks off with the title track, "Hot Dog," a fun and upbeat song that sets the tone for the rest of the album. From there, Jones takes listeners on a journey through classic country themes, including love, heartbreak, and the simple pleasures of life.

One standout track is "Rhythm and Booze," which showcases Jones' ability to tell a story through song. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of a man drowning his sorrows in alcohol, while the upbeat melody keeps the mood light and enjoyable.

Another highlight is "Honky Tonk Hardwood Floor," a classic country dance tune that will have you shuffling your feet and clapping along. Jones' vocals are particularly impressive on this track, showcasing his range and versatility as a singer.

Buck used the pseudonym "Corky Jones" so as not to upset his country fans. He did a total of ten rockabilly songs as Corky for Pep Records. They did well locally but lacked any national recognition.
