Yalla Yalla is the fifth and final studio album by Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros. This album was released in 2002 and features a mix of punk rock, world music, and reggae. The album has a total of 11 tracks and has a runtime of 48 minutes.
The album starts with the title track "Yalla Yalla," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The song has a Middle Eastern feel to it, with its use of sitar and Arabic vocals. The second track, "Johnny Appleseed," is a standout track on the album. It has a catchy chorus and a great guitar riff.
The album also features a cover of Bob Marley's "Redemption Song." Strummer's vocals on this track are excellent, and the song is given a new lease of life with the Mescaleros' unique sound.
