Review by Nimish Shah

Ilana Vered's performance of Rachmaninoff is nothing short of breathtaking. Her technical proficiency and emotional depth shine through on every track of this album, which features some of the composer's most beloved works for piano.

From the opening notes of the Prelude in C-sharp minor to the hauntingly beautiful melodies of the Piano Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor, Vered's playing is both powerful and nuanced. She captures the essence of Rachmaninoff's music with sensitivity and skill, bringing out the intricate harmonies and complex rhythms that make his compositions so captivating.

Listeners will be spellbound by Vered's interpretation of the famous Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, which she performs with the London Symphony Orchestra under the direction of André Previn. Her playing is both virtuosic and expressive, conveying the full range of emotions that Rachmaninoff intended.
