Einzelkind - Pay To Play EP

Review by Maurício Batarce

Pay To Play, the latest release from German electronic music duo Einzelkind, is a solid addition to their discography. The album's 10 tracks showcase Einzelkind's signature blend of minimal techno and house, with a few surprises thrown in for good measure.

The opening track, "Highway to Hell," sets the tone with its driving beat and ominous bassline. "Pay to Play," the title track, is a standout with its catchy vocal hook and infectious groove. "The Big Picture" is a more laid-back affair, with its dreamy pads and subtle percussion.

Throughout the album, Einzelkind demonstrate their mastery of the genre, with crisp production and carefully crafted arrangements. There are plenty of moments that will get the dancefloor moving, but the album also has its introspective moments, such as the haunting "Darkness Falls."
