Review by Joe Wallin

Dottie Jean's latest album, Sweet Daddy Wouldn't Do That, is a delightful mix of country, blues, and rockabilly that showcases her impressive vocal range and songwriting skills. The album's title track is a catchy, upbeat tune that sets the tone for the rest of the album, which features a mix of heartfelt ballads and foot-stomping rockers.

One standout track is "Whiskey and Wine," a bluesy number that showcases Jean's soulful voice and ability to tell a story through her lyrics. Another highlight is "Tennessee Sun," a rollicking country-rock tune that will have listeners tapping their toes and singing along.

Billy Sherill produced a fair few hits of this era I think? Great track - gutsy R&B with a nice Hammond organ (?) break! Had this on CD in "the Okeh Story" but great to actually see what the single looked like! Thanks for posting it.
