Dories' latest album, Stompin Sh Boom, is an energetic and dynamic collection of songs that showcases the band's unique blend of rockabilly, swing, and blues. From the opening track, "Jumpin' Jive," the listener is transported to a bygone era of swing dancing and jive halls. The band's tight musicianship and infectious energy are evident in every track, from the rollicking "Rockin' Robin" to the soulful "Ain't Misbehavin'." Lead singer Dorie's powerful vocals are a standout, conveying both sass and vulnerability in equal measure.
