Classics IV Featuring Dennis Yost's album "Stormy Spooky" is a hauntingly beautiful collection of songs that perfectly capture the spirit of Halloween. The album features Yost's signature smooth vocals, which are complemented by eerie instrumentation and haunting melodies.

One standout track is the album's title track, "Stormy Spooky," which features a moody and atmospheric sound that perfectly captures the feeling of a dark and stormy night. Another standout track is "Haunted House," which features a catchy melody and spooky lyrics that are sure to get stuck in your head.

These guys had 5-6 great chart topping songs in the 70’s, highly underrated

Those Dearborn,Michigan women from 1970-78! Oh yeah!
President Lyndon B. Johnson was President when this song was released in 1967. I don’t know why this song makes me feel so sad. I was only 9 years old then. My eldest brother left to boarding school in the Seminary. I missed him. Elvis & Priscilla got married. Jayne Mansfield died in a car accident. Riots in Detroit, Wisconsin, Washington, D.C., NY & Minneapolis. 10,000 marched against the Vietnam War that year. So many were dying. (1964-1973). Jimi Hendrix released an album. The Carol Burnett Show premiered. The Doors sang “Light My Fire” on the Ed Sullivan Show. Joan Baez & others were arrested in Oakland, CA for blocking an induction center. The film, The Jungle Book was a big hit. The Rolling Stones 1st magazine was published. Otis Redding was killed in a plane crash. The Beatles released “The Magical Mystery Tour”. The Summer of Love occurred in San Francisco. The Big Mac was introduced in Pittsburgh. Since all this, 28 relatives have died including 5 of my brothers. It’s hard to hear this song, I guess, because it reminds me of the Vietnam War and how everyone wanted it to end but it kept on going for 6 more years.

As a HUGE fan of both this song and Dennis Yost, I find this updated 'disco' version of the song fascinating to hear. I was saddened to hear that Dennis passed away, and think he was a very underrated vocalist who brought sophisticated jazz influences to the pop mainstream. He had so much SOUL in his singing...Dennis, RIP my friend. You were one of a kind.
