Keith "Pepe Pepe" Bolling & Dorothy "Chee Chee" Moore. They were discovered by Jessie James (4) (the composer/producer of The Fantastic Johnny C's "Boogaloo Down Broadway" among other hits). Also interesting that the 1981 releases were not with Keith Bolling he was replaced by Charles Campbell the new "Pepe Pepe"

My child hood favorite
A little trivia for my fellow Chee Chee and Peppy fans. I bought their self titled LP in 2000. The original release date was in 1972. I believe they recut their singles for the LP. By the time they released it Chee-Chee's voice had deepened a lot. So if you already own their Buddah 45's and nab the LP you will be surprised to hear the differences in the 45s as opposed to the LP. This song in particular is the 45 version. Their biggest hit was I know I'm In Love (45 edit). And it does sound different on the LP. Also check out Never, Never, Never, Loving You Really Comes Easy, A Lover's Question and (I'm Not An) Indian Giver. The singles as opposed to the LP versions are different.
