Review by Miss Rockabella

Let Your Yeah Be Yeah by Brownsville Station is an album that showcases the band's signature sound of hard-driving rock and roll. The album opens with the title track, a catchy and upbeat tune that sets the tone for the rest of the record. From there, the band delivers a mix of original compositions and covers, each one infused with their trademark energy and attitude.

One standout track is "Barefootin'," a cover of the classic R&B hit that Brownsville Station infuses with their own unique flavor. Another highlight is "Mama Don't Allow No Parkin'," a rollicking number that showcases the band's tight musicianship and playful sense of humor.

ALONG WITH GRAND FUNK RAILROAD!!!
Saw them together in the 1970’s and I was HOOKED! Still have all of the original Vinyl!!!
Another great michigan band.great jam
Saw them at the Cleveland Agora in 1972. ZZ Top opened for them. they kicked ass.
This was my favorite song they did live!
this song was written by reggae superstar Jimmy Cliff
The first thing that came to my high mind: This song describes the sound of what an ACDC-song would have sounded like if they had kept Dave Evans as their vocalist.
One of Detroit's finest rock bands of the 70's. Cub Koda & his band 's cover of Jimmy Cliff & The Pioneers reggae version rocks! CKLW gave it some airplay, but it only charted moderately. A good song from 1972-73.
Ohhhh voooooooooy. Finally I found it!!! ??????????
Greatest song They ever made I thought.
I remember this song from Feb/Mar 1973 as 12th grade was coming to an end. It was a fun time before much change. Brownsville Station had some great music during the early & mid 1970s. Unforgettable!
Well stated, real music don't lie

Did Al Nally produce & manage these guys? I remember this being on Palladium Records. We did club dates behind them all over Michigan along with the Woolies & Whiz Kids. Anybody got any info on that? Thanks.

Great album.
2nd fave Brownsville Station track after "I Got It Bad For You"
lovvvvvvvvvvvve this old rock!
Great Song! I was sitting in a bar in Scotland one night and they had a glam rock band playing there. Looking back, these guy looked ridiculous, they all looked like Rod Stewart wearing pink satin breeches. I didn't pay much attention to them until they started playing their cover of this song. I learned later that they liked Brownsville Station as well as Gary Glitter and the Bay City Rollers. Small World!
The most entertaining band ever. Their live shows were unbelievable. Dos anyone have any tapes they can post?
