The members of this band were from Springfield, Ma. Carol is right.
Hi John, my brother was the keyboardist in The Bostels. His name was Paul Bousquet. A few corrections--The Bostels were Springfield, MA-based, all 8 members (4 black men and 4 white) lived in Spfld. They, for a good stretch, were very popular throughout New England, winning every battle of the bands typically and often the headliners. Remember Battles of the Bands? They opened at The Hive (Spfld.) for -- are you sitting? --- Three Dog Night and again for Vanilla Fudge. The cover charge went from 50 cents to $2. We all took umbradge saying who the heck are -- Three Dog Night then Vanilla Fudge?! They hadn't hit big just yet. We all knew who they were when they finished their sets. All of The Bostels stood in awe. The ultimate was opening for Wilson Pickett at The Springfield Auditorium!
Do you know how I could buy a copy of this record?
