Great song, thought it must be forgotten by now. Still have the 45 somewhere. Along with the raucous follow-up Social end product. Didn't buy the final effort, I'm a little man.
Every country had some garage rock in the 60s.
Beautiful beat classic- raw and melodic at the same time. New Zealand had the best bands and I find that very interesting as I'm American and don't think we had the best bands no way. The UK/Europe/Commonwealth UK countries had all the best bands. We had some, but not too many were as good as the best from elsewhere.
I never knew NZ did Garage Rock! Great stuff! :)
