Review by Marge Nauer

The album "Carmen Suite L'Arlesienne Suite Nos 1 2" features a collection of classical pieces performed by various artists. The album is a stunning tribute to the works of Georges Bizet and his contemporaries.

The Carmen Suite, which is based on Bizet's famous opera Carmen, features a mix of orchestral and vocal performances. The music is dynamic and full of energy, and the vocal performances are particularly noteworthy.

The L'Arlesienne Suite Nos 1 2, on the other hand, is a beautiful orchestral piece that showcases the talents of the performers. The music is hauntingly beautiful and evokes a sense of melancholy and longing.

Karajan did wonderful work with the then-new Philharmonia Orchestra, still a truly world-class ensemble!
Danke this has been an earworm for me last days forgot title love it!
Einfach atemberaubend!
Well, to me Von Karajan's Farandole brass section sounds like Diesel engine ?

I'm playing this for my concert
He was, because he was the principal flutiste with Karajan as a conductor...
Farandole (9:23) = Deadstorm Pirates theme!!
